The most innovative and largest Pershing superyacht, the Pershing 140 flagship model is also the first all-aluminium superyacht from the Italian yard. First announced at the 2015 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the first hull in the series was delivered in 2019, underlining a significant milestone in Pershing’s evolution. Measuring 43.3 metres in length, the Pershing 140 was designed in collaboration with architect Fulvio De Simoni, the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, and the Group’s Engineering Department. The first superyacht from Pershing to have a raised helm station that is directly connected to the sundeck, the Pershing 140 also is the first model to feature a dedicated space for the owners forward on the main deck. One of Pershing’s most forward-looking models to this day, we take a closer look at what makes the Pershing 140 so unique.
Innovative Design & Engineering
Constructed from lightweight aluminium alloy, the Pershing 140’s design not only reduces its weight, it also enhances its durability and performance. Offering increased corrosion resistance and flexibility, aluminium alloy also helps ensure that the Pershing 140 is able to deliver impressive speeds for a superyacht. Powered by four MTU 16V2000 M96L engines, each delivering 2,600 horsepower, the Pershing 140 has a top speed of 38 knots. The additional hydro-jet propulsion system provides exceptional manoeuvrability and efficiency, and three Seakeeper 35 stabilisers offer maximum comfort, even when anchored.
Sleek Exterior Styling
The exterior styling of the Pershing 140 was carefully designed to exude a sporty and aggressive aesthetic. Characterised by sleek lines and dynamic contours, some of the more distinctive features of her exterior design include two side wings integrated into the superstructure at the beginning of the walkways, which enhance her aerodynamics and the overall visual appeal. The contemporary bow design further contributes to the Pershing 140’s streamlined profile, while the mooring cover with an automatic up/down mechanism helps maintain the clean and refined appeal of her exterior design.
Spacious Interior Layout
The Pershing 140 has a spacious interior layout designed with comfort and style in mind. The main deck features an expansive owner’s suite forward, a first for Pershing, offering owners a private sanctuary with panoramic sea views. The owner’s suite includes a private lounge area and his and hers bathrooms, so owners can retreat and unwind from guests and crew whenever needed. The lower deck houses four additional ensuite staterooms, two doubles and two twins, and four crew cabins.
Open-Plan Main Deck
The main deck’s open-plan design seamlessly integrates the dining area and lounge, creating a harmonious space for socialising and relaxation. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the area with natural light, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding seascape. The galley and crew quarters are strategically located on the lower deck, ensuring that guest areas remain undisturbed and maintaining a high level of service.
Expansive Flybridge
Another one of the standout features onboard the Pershing 140 is her flybridge, accessible via a raised helm station directly connected to the sun deck. A new design feature for the Italian shipyard, its addition facilitates easy and direct movement between the control centre and outdoor leisure areas, strengthening both the functionality and guest experience. The flybridge offers ample space for relaxation, sunbathing, and entertainment, making it a key and versatile area for hosting events, entertaining and socialising.
Flexible Beach Club
The main deck aft of the Pershing 140 features a versatile beach club that can fully open on three sides, creating an expansive space for owners and guests at the water’s edge. Another first for Pershing, this innovative design offers a direct connection between the Pershing 140’s indoor and outdoor areas while serving as an ideal setting for water activities, socialising, or simply enjoying the surroundings. The beach club is also equipped with comfortable sun loungers and movable sunpads, so owners and guests can enjoy the space as they see fit.
